一、 申请人或单位资格 Qualification

• 希望申请加入国际博物馆协会的个人或单位，应是中国博物馆协会的个人会员（且在国内居住）或单位会员。
• To apply as an individual member, you need to be a working or retired museum professional in China.
• To apply as an institutional member, you need to represent a museum in China or another institution that complies with the definition of a museum.

二、 会员权益和义务 Benefits and terms

• 1. 会员权益 Benefits：
• • 使用贴有当年标签的会员卡免费参观会员博物馆 Use your membership card to visit member museums for free
• • 参加国际博协举办的各项活动和培训课程 Opportunity to join ICOM activities and trainings
• • 享有国际博协大会注册费优惠 Discount on ICOM Conference registration
• • 免费或以优惠价格获取学术资源 Free or discounted access to publications and resources
• 2. 会员义务 Terms：
• • 遵守国际博协制定的《博物馆职业道德准则》Respect the ICOM Code of Ethics for Museums
• • 按时缴纳年度会费 Pay the annual membership fee
• • 会员博物馆应向持有效会员卡的人员免费开放 Member museums should provide free admission for members with valid cards.

三、 申请材料 Application form

• 1.个人会员申请需提交英文版国际博物馆协会个人申请表(点击下载)和加盖单位公章的中文推荐信（自拟）。
• For Individual Membership: Please submit the application form (download here) and a stamped recommendation letter from your institution (in Chinese).
• 2. 单位会员申请需提交国际博协单位会员申请表（申请表单位名称处加盖公章）（点击下载）和单位会员联系人表（点击下载）。
• For Institutional Membership: Please submit the stamped application form (download here) and the contact person form(download here).

四、 申请程序 Procedure

• 将申请表和推荐信等材料电子版发送至：zgbwgxh@vip.sina.com，邮件标题请注明“个人姓名/单位名称-ICOM国际博协会员申请”，个人申请需在邮件中写明中文姓名、单位、职务、手机号、邮寄地址、中国博协会员编号等相关信息；单位申请需写明单位名称、中国博协会员编号等信息。
• Please send your application to zgbwgxh@vip.sina.com. Title your email “your name/institution name-ICOM Membership.” For individual, please include your name, institution, mobile number, and your mailing address in Chinese in your email.
• 国际博协中国国家委员会将根据国际博协有关规定对提出申请的个人和单位进行评估，必要时，可能要求申请者提供详细证明资料，最后通过不定期理事会或常务理事会会议决定其申报资格。国际博协审批结果将通过电子邮件通知个人或单位联系人，各会员或会员单位接到通知后缴纳当年会费（点击查看缴费通知）。
• ICOM China will evaluate your application based on ICOM's statutes, and require for further supporting materials when necessary. The application needs to be approved by ICOM China irregular board meeting, then transferred to ICOM General Secretariat to be finalized. The result of your application will be notified by email.
