国际博协历史建筑博物馆委员会2026年大会将于10月26至28日在法国凡尔赛宫举办。大会主题为“变化的界线:AI时代的历史建筑”,探讨在历史建筑的保护、管理与展示等领域中,人工智能技术的潜能与风险。大会邀请相关策展人和专家学者踊跃投稿,分享突破性的研究或案例。稿件主题需符合“技术赋能策展人”“重塑建筑”“伦理”三项分主题之一。投稿截止日期为4月2日。
大会预计于7月开启参会注册。

国际博协城市博物馆委员会(CAMOC)与收藏委员会(COMCOL)曾于2024年10月在阿姆斯特丹联合举办会议,主题为“在城市中收藏”。近日,本次大会会刊正式发布,电子版可免费下载。

本刊收录了会议主旨发言和部分精选发言内容。文章围绕五个分主题:“力量与平等”“创意参与”“流动的边界”“物质与非物质”,以及“关怀理念”,探讨在城市中,博物馆与城市共同收藏所面临的挑战与可能性。

英国博物馆协会(Museums Association)2026年年会将于11月2日至4日在英国伯明翰举办,主题为“博物馆连结社群”。会议将探讨博物馆如何通过与所在社群建立更深厚、更有意义的联结,助力推动社会变革。活动日程包含专家研讨会、圆桌会议、培训,及实地考察等。各类博物馆相关从业人员均可参会,部分会议可线上参加。

ICOM Releases New Issue of Museum International

The latest issue of Museum International (Volume 77, Issue 3-4) themed Provenance Research 1 has been published. As the first of two volumes special issue, it addresses major challenges museums face in tracing collection origins. It explores methods to reconstruct ownership, custody and contextual histories of objects, collections and ancestral remains with incomplete provenance records.

The second volume, Provenance Research 2, is set for release in spring 2026. Please refer to the website:

Call for Papers: DEMHIST 2026 Conference

ICOM’s International Committee for Historic House Museums (DEMHIST) will hold its 2026 conference at the Palace of Versailles, France, from October 26 to 28. Themed Shifting Lines: Historical Houses in the Age of AI, the event examines both potential applications and risks of AI in the conservation, management and interpretation of historic buildings.

Curators, researchers and practitioners are invited to submit papers covering three sub-themes: The Augmented Curator, Reinventing our Houses, and Ethics. The submission deadline is April 2. Conference registration will open in July.

Publication Released: CAMOC & COMCOL Conference 2024

The publication of Collecting With(in) the City: Publication of the CAMOC & COMCOL Conference 2024 Amsterdam has been launched for free digital download.

The publication features keynote speeches and selected presentations. Centering on five themes — Power and (In)equalities, Creative Engagements, Fluid Borders, Tangible and Intangible, and Concepts of Care — it discusses challenges and possibilities of collecting with(in) the city today.

2026 Museums Association Annual Conference Opens for Registration

The 2026 Annual Conference of the UK Museums Association will take place in Birmingham from November 2 to 4, with the theme Museums Connecting Communities.

The conference explores how museums build closer community ties to drive social progress, including panel discussions, training sessions and field visits. Both on-site and online participation options are available for all museum professionals.
